Joe Nicoletti continues to roll out endorsements. Assemblywoman Joan Christensen, a fellow Democrat who served with Joe during his brief stint in the State Assembly, endorsed her former colleague in his quest to become mayor of Syracuse. In a developing theme, she cited Stephanie Miner’s temperament as a reason she is supporting Joe over Stephanie, the designated Democrat in the race. Christensen praised Joe’s “ability to cooperate,” noting that Stephanie has “a different technique,” a subtle swipe at Stephanie’s reputation as an obstructionist. Will Stephanie Miner counterattack with an endorsement of her own in the next few days? Time will tell.

Joe Gets Joan

Joan is right about who is more experenced and approchable when it comes to everything from business to unions to school administrators to voters. He has what it takes and he know how to unite all people. Go Joe Nicoletti we stand behind you!!
ReplyDeleteJust what he needs. An endorsement from an Albany political hack who hasn't accomplished a thing in all the years she's been in office.
ReplyDeleteYeah, a "hack" who is easily re-elected every two years, who works well with others, is respected by nearly everyone who has had occasion to work with her.
ReplyDeleteYeah, who needs an endorsement from someone like that? (end sarcasm)
As one elected official who has tried to work with Joan, she is basically useless and powerless at the state level.
ReplyDeleteStephanie may be brash, but she says what she thinks is right, not like Joe who says what he thinks you want to hear.
Joan is just Joe's most current designated pit bull (Bea was the first). Great way to go negative, Joe!!
Joan is nothing more than a political dinosaur who is totally out of touch with what her job is supposed to be. A perfect example of a career politican living off the public dole.
ReplyDeleteWhich is worse, someone who has carved out a sucessful political career on her own, or one who owes everything to a husband with deep pockets?
ReplyDeleteI cannot ever forgive Miner for saying we in Syracuse have two strikes against us just by virtue of living here. That negativity, that depressing attitude, fuels a sense of futility. That is not inspiring, it is off-putting. She has done nothing for the city since she gained office, while she has obstructed the plans and dreams of many. We know what she is against - progress and civic pride, but what is she for?
The 3rd strick will be if Miner some how cheated her way into the mayors office. I will never vote for her,EVER.
ReplyDeleteYou say Joan is nothing more than a dinosaur, well what about ms miners husband? He is 78 years old and she is 36 years old. What's up with this?? Gold digger or she is in hiding. You decide
